    Ontological dimension onto the irrigation system altogether throws different light upon the entire discourse on cropscapes literally across national borders. The non human and abiotic components of river water ecosystem transcend across geographical divisions and become a vital source carrier/ medium which spread plant culture and animal culture.
    Irrigation systems of recent times have embedded with technology which has been implemented on agricultural landscapes. Water storage in dams has been the outcome innovative idea and technology. The functional aspect of this technology has served the society beyond the major objective that is storage of water. Dam water creates non human species, non living materials, renewable resource that is hydro electric power.
    River from its humble origin began to carry multiple living and non living things on its course. At one stage it gets many components into it, to be defined as a strong ecosystem. Microbes, algae, fungus (biotic), extracts of herbs, natural chemicals and soil (abiotic) are its natural components.
    Dams and canals do form the next cluster in irrigational hierarchical structure. In Dams the ecosystem gets enriched due to the availability of larger and longer space and time respectively. This ecosystem gets slight alignment when it travels along with course of the river. The alignment basically refers to the change in interspecies relationship and their relationship with non-living factors.

    Three paradigms of contextualize human society in this interspecies relationship through crop fields and its exclusive river water ecosystem.
    1. Experiential crop field – plasmodium breeding, human as vulnerable component.
    Paddy nurseries produce A.culicifacies so also did growing fields.. A.culicifacies had not been found in rice fields when plants are more than a foot tall. The long period of water storage in rice fields besides the wet fallow lands nearby the field, ill conceived poorly maintained water channels both inward and outward had been the source of breeding ground for A.culicifacies

    Aquatic foods come through irrigation system substitutes the calories consumption of human society.
    3. River irrigation- supports co-existence of non-human species-bio-diversity
    Plant species and animal species co-exist which is supported by abiotic components like river soil, minerals and gas elements besides the process of soil enrichment. This is not possible in other irrigation systems.
