37th ICOHTEC meeting in Tampere, FINLAND (2010)

A joint conference with TICCIH (The International Committee for the Conservation of the Industrial Heritage) will take place in Tampere, Finland, in 10th -15th of August 2010.

The deadline for paper and panel proposal submissions is January 7th, 2010.

Travel Grant

ICOHTEC will award travel grants to participants of the conference “Reusing the Industrial Past” in Tampere, Finland,
10-15 August 2010.
Travel grants will be given in a limited number to young scholars (predominantly from countries with traditionally “weak currencies”). These grants may go up to 300 Euros. A commission of ICOHTEC will decide about the grants.

Please, send your application with the following appendices:
1. cv,
2. list of publications and earlier conference papers,
3. list of academic qualifications (including degrees, institutions of studies and supervising professors),
4. the abstract of the intended paper and the statement that it was accepted,
5. name of a member of ICOHTEC who is able to give information about the applicant.

The grant will be given after the paper has been presented.

All these pieces of information should be sent by email to Patrice Bret or to Timo Myllyntaus no later than April 19, 2010.
