Abstract

The article examines the development of autonomous robotic transport systems for hospitals and medical facilities from a legal perspective. It focuses on internal autonomous medical transport vehicles designed to move medicines, medical samples, documents, and other items within hospital premises. Particular attention is given to recent legislation and case law, the vehicles’ interaction with the hospital environment, and their integration into hospital internet-of-things networks.
