Abstract
The article defines the development principles of the current regulatory framework for working with electronic documents in administrative practices and their archival storage, the research and methodological basis for handling documents in electronic form, the selection and implementation of (automated) information systems, adapted to the tasks of the archival field. The article identifies promising projects of working with electronic documents in the framework of electronic archival studies.
