The Swiss Mobility Conference will take place on 10–11 September 2026 at the University of Lausanne (Switzerland), offering a space for discussion among humanities and social science scholars working on mobility in Switzerland and beyond. Co-organised by EPFL (LASUR) and UNIL (Institute of Geography and Sustainability), the conference welcomes contributions on mobility in its diversity—from daily practices and inequalities to infrastructures, accessibility, policy and regulation, socio-ecological transitions, and theoretical/methodological approaches—featuring a keynote by Jeffrey Kenworthy. The call for abstracts opens in January 2026, with a submission deadline in March 2026 (notifications expected by late April; registration opens in May), and sessions will be held in French and English.
