IDEAS2026 invites submissions for its first international conference, to be held 3–4 August 2026 in Manchester (UK). The meeting aims to bring together social science researchers, technologists, innovators, strategists, and policymakers to discuss how innovative and emerging technologies can be adopted and deployed to maximize benefits while minimizing harms and risks, including themes such as digital literacy, ethical AI and data standards, privacy regulation, equitable access, and inclusive approaches to technology development. The conference is organised by AT Publishing in association with its journals Recent Advances in Humanities Arts and Social Sciences (HASS) and Research in Education Curriculum and Pedagogy: Global Perspectives (RECAP), and follows a “conference first” policy; selected papers may be invited for development into journal articles for special issues with no APCs. The submission deadline is 31 May 2026.
