The Association for Asian Studies is inviting applications for the 2026–27 Gosling-Lim Postdoctoral Fellowship in Southeast Asian Studies, designed to strengthen research capacity among Southeast Asian nationals based at Southeast Asian institutions. The fellowship provides US $55,000 to support 10–12 months of postdoctoral research and writing, hosted at an academic institution in Southeast Asia or elsewhere other than the applicant’s home institution. Applicants must hold a PhD at the time of application (typically earned within 1–3 years prior to the award start), and the deadline is 2 February 2026 (11:59 PM ET). (Association for Asian Studies)
