KU Leuven’s Faculty of Arts is recruiting a full-time tenure-track professor in Cultural and Societal Storytelling, based at KU Leuven Kulak (Kortrijk) within the Literary Studies and Cultural Studies Research Unit. The position targets internationally oriented researchers working on narratives in word and/or image and their societal impact, especially in relation to inclusion and/or sustainability, alongside teaching in Language & Literature (Kortrijk) and developing a master’s-level offering (Leuven). The appointment starts 1 September 2026, includes €110,000 start-up funding, and is a five-year tenure track leading to a permanent position after positive evaluation.
