UKRI (AHRC), in partnership with the BBC, invites applications to New Generation Thinkers 2026, a flagship scheme offering five early-career researchers the chance to work with BBC Radio 4 programme makers, gain hands-on experience of how research ideas reach broadcast, and take part in dedicated learning and development on public engagement and working with the media. Applicants must be UK residents, aged 18+, and based at a UKRI-eligible UK research organisation (including late-stage PhD researchers and ECRs within the specified post-PhD/appointment windows).
