The Dr. C. Louise Thijssen-Schoute Foundation is inviting applications for the Thijssen-Schoute Fellowship 2027, supporting research in the history of ideas with a particular focus on the seventeenth century and the Dutch Republic. Offered in collaboration with the Knowledge and Art Practices research group at the Huygens Institute (Amsterdam), the fellowship is aimed at advanced PhD candidates and recent PhD graduates (within 3 years), and provides a €2,000/month stipend for three months (research to be carried out in 2027, with on-site presence at least three days a week).
