Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (New York) is recruiting a Historian of the Life Sciences to join the Center for Humanities and the History of Modern Biology within CSHL’s Archives, in a highly interdisciplinary setting at a leading biomedical research institution. The (three-year) position combines original historical research on modern biology (including areas such as molecular biology, genetics, neuroscience, biotechnology) with major archival and public-facing work—especially developing and interpreting the Nobel Laureate Collection, conducting oral histories, and contributing to seminars and outreach.
